Javier, a man tormented by the abandonment of his beloved Marta, begins to obsessively read the works of Spanish poet Antonio Machado and decides to travel to Collioure, France, where the author died. While in his hotel, he meets a strange woman and her hyperactive teenager. One morning as they have breakfast, the woman receives a bizarre call and disappears, leaving her son with the protagonist. Thus begins an adventure that mixes episodes of the Spanish Civil War with the search for the missing woman.
Javier, un hombre atormentado por el abandono de su amada Marta, comienza a leer obsesivamente las obras del poeta español Antonio Machado y decide viajar a Collioure, Francia, donde el autor murió. Durante su estancia en el hotel, conoce a una mujer extraña y su hijo adolescente hiperactivo. Mientras desayunan una mañana, la mujer recibe una llamada extraña y desaparece, dejando a su hijo con el protagonista. Así comienza una aventura que mezcla episodios de la Guerra Civil Española con la búsqueda de la mujer desaparecida.
